Museum dioramas in the news

The New Yorker has a short piece this week on the restoration of the dioramas in the American Museum of Natural History. Adam Gopnik turns a discerning critical eye on the backdrops by painter James Perry Wilson, whom he calls “the Raphael of the animal diorama”.
