Benefits of membership
SONSI members are eligible to:
- Participate in SONSI events
- Be listed on the SONSI website, with an image and a link to a personal website
- Be on the e-mail list, where members occasionally receive pertinent news items and opportunities
Occasional SONSI events may be open to the general public
Membership Fee
The one-time* fee to join SONSI is $60/person. *Our current outlook is that this fee will cover membership for at least a few years. At some point we may need to reevaluate this policy and collect more dues from members in order to have enough funds to maintain our website and run events.
Interested in becoming a member?
We meet a couple times a year, primarily within an hour’s drive of the Toronto area. SONSI is an informal organization run by volunteers, with members from all over Southern Ontario. Though our website is designed for professional nature and science illustrators, anyone with an interest in nature and science illustration is welcome to join.
