Botanical Art with Coloured Pencils: The Fall Harvest

October 12- November 16, 2016 Think coloured pencils are for kids? Think again! Using the new breed of artists’ quality coloured pencils such as Faber-Castell Polychromos, we will practice techniques such as colour layering, colour blending, adjusting value, indentation, lifting methods, saturation, and burnishing. Our subjects will be the abundant fruits and vegetables of the fall harvest. A materials list will be provided to registrants by October 1. To register, please email me and send a cheque for $306.00 to: Nellie Sue Potter, 2775 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M6P 1Y4.

Nellie Sue is also opening a studio and gallery in Toronto (Dundas St. West in the Junction) where she will teach more classes. Tentatively, her fall offerings will be something like this:

Monday mornings: Projects for Intermediate to Advanced Participants
Tuesday mornings: Botanical Art with Coloured Pencils: The Fall Harvest
Tuesday evenings: Botanical Art 101
Wednesday at Swansea Town Hall
Thursday mornings: Leaves! in various media, with various themes.
